A Historic Kennebunkport Hotel

Perched on a tidal estuarine cove, Mabel’s House – our boutique hotel in Kennebunkport, Maine – has been welcoming visitors since the early 1900s, originally known as the Green Heron Inn. In 2020, we embraced a new chapter as Mabel’s House, completing a full redesign that blends modern comforts with the vintage charm of our coastal location.

Nestled on Ocean Avenue, Mabel’s House enjoys a prime location near Kennebunkport’s most sought-after restaurants and attractions, including Mabel’s Lobster Claw, Colony Beach, and Parson’s Way.

With the ease of self-check-in, you can arrive at your own pace, outside of front desk hours. Begin your morning with complimentary coffee or tea in our dining room or head out to an Adirondack chair to soak in the calming views of the cove as the day begins.

For breakfast or a quick bite, explore these local favorites: Kport Provisions in Kennebunk, Cape Porpoise Kitchen in Cape Porpoise and Mabel’s Pantry – our onsite breakfast restaurant, coming this summer!
